Cheryl Row is an Orange County native. She attended high school in Garden Grove, and college at the University of California, Santa Barbara and California State University, Fullerton. While attending the UC Santa Barbara, she wrote for the Daily Nexus, the campus newspaper, reporting on environmental issues. During college, Cheryl was active in local Surfrider Foundation activities while working for the State of California Department of Parks and Recreation. She received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 1993.

Curtis Barnes
Curtis Barnes was raised in a military family. His father, an officer in the Air Force, served in Korea and Vietnam. As a child, Curtis lived throughout the United States and Europe. He attended boarding school in England and high school in Rota, Spain, where he graduated in 1977. Returning to the United States for college, Mr. Barnes attended San Diego State University, receiving his B.A. in political science with a minor in real estate in 1985.

E. Robert Lemkin was a native of New York City. He attended the University of Utah School of Law and moved to Fullerton, California in 1955.
